4th of July is a celebration of the Continental Congress adopting the Declaration of Independence, and announcing the colonies’ separation from Great Britain. We celebrate our freedoms, and the great United States of America with family, friends, cookouts, parades, and fireworks during these modern times.
The farm has been rocking this week, and we thank all who have stopped by Farm & Goods. The demand is meeting what the plants can currently provide. While this is a balancing act for us to predict during our end of year planning, that means the freshest of produce is being offered. We are developing our plans for end of 2021, and early 2022 to accommodate for next year. 🙂
The veggies have been picked, no corn as previously mentioned, but we do have a packed Farm stand for tomorrow. We will be open from 9am to 4pm for both Farm and Goods. Come out early to get the best pick before we run out! We are closed Sunday, so if you are planning a Sunday cook-out, tomorrow is the day to visit.
Last chance to get your patriotic décor for this weekend on sale through tomorrow. Thanks to those who have taken advantage of the celebration sale this week, Lisa has enjoyed chatting with all of you.
Farm will be open Monday during normal business hours.
We wish everyone a safe, and happy 4th of July! See you at the stand!
