As we continue to get more wetness from Ida here in GA with 5″‘s of rain so far, it is saddening to see the devastation that occurred in the Creole state of Louisiana over the past 2 days. Having spent 2 months working in that area 15 years ago when Hurricane Katrina hit was a life altering event for me personally after seeing the destruction, and meeting people who lost everything. Our sympathies to all affected.
It has been a slow day here at the farm due to the rain. Thanks to the 3 customers who were brave enough to come out for some produce, and Goods. We have been blessed to only experience a plugged drainage pipe this morning.
We will hopefully resume our normally scheduled programming tomorrow evening. Stay safe, and dry. Jason
