Spring has sprung on the farm and we are trying to stay ahead of the never ending chores. Our plants are just about ready for their new homes in the tunnels. This week will consist of slowly getting them acclimated to real sunlight and temperature fluctuations. The fruit trees are budding and had their first dose of organic fungicide. The soils in the tunnels have been monitored throughout the week, and are so close to being at that 70 degree mark for planting. With the sunny days and warmer temperatures ahead, we should be right on target for planting time.
Goods items will be arriving at the store this week, we will be decorating, and updating our website photos too. Looks as if opening day will be the last week in March, with the official date to be announced on our blog and website soon. Have a great evening! Enjoy some spring flowers from the farm!
