We are a little behind the local berry farms, and were concerned that our berries would not survive the cold, but to no avail the strawberries have delightfully proven us wrong. They are almost sweet and ready to be picked! Yes, a taste test might just have occurred earlier today. Mulch is currently going in around the blackberries and raspberries to keep the weeds down, and all gardens received another dose of fertilizer today.
