The squash & zucchini plants are happy in the tunnels and they are showing their love by providing an abundance for Saturday. The Friday farm update this week includes: strawberries are finishing for the season with only a few containers each picking, but the blackberries are on the way. We are impatiently waiting for the tomatoes to turn, meanwhile the melons, corn, and okra are all growing well. The first cantaloupe flowers have arrived.
Come on out Saturday and visit Farm and Goods for your fresh veggies, coffee, honey, elderberry, pickles, jams, and more. Open from 9am to 4pm. Have a wonderful weekend and we will see you tomorrow at the farm!
