A Crazy Tuesday

What a week and it’s only Tuesday. We are beginning the change of crops from summer to fall with removal of summer plants and adding the fall crops. Today was cleanup of the cucumber house. We still have some cucumber plants that are continuing to produce so cucumbers and pickles will be in the stand for a bit longer. The last of the watermelon and cantaloupe are in the Farm stand. We are on the last 2 rows of corn, if you want that remaining taste of sweet corn for the season visit us within the next week. Raspberries are in the Farm fridge along with ready to eat cantaloupe for a snack. Pear raspberry jam and dill pickles were canned today so you will find them in the stand soon.
Goods is open tomorrow for those ready to decorate for fall. For those new to us Goods has unique hand crafted arts, décor and furniture at great prices to make your home festive. If the perfect gift is what you are needing, one of a kind items await you in the Goods store. Also this is the last week to sign up for the final summer raffle with the drawing this Saturday after close of business. If you would like decorative corn stalks just ask and we will cut some for you. Bundles of 10 straight from the garden corn stalks for $5.00.
Happy Tuesday eve! J&L
