51 degrees!

Holly Hill was a brisk 51 degrees this morning according to our weather station which was added here at the farm about 2 weeks ago. We are broadcasting to Ambient Weather and Weather Underground (KGACANTO321) as Holly Hill Farm and Goods. More data is available on the Ambient site for those weather geeks like us.
While they may not look like much now the broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage are coming up in the tunnel for our early winter harvesting. Collards are right behind them being just a tad bit smaller at the moment. As the weather cools down we will continue adding spinach, lettuce, beets, and turnips to complete the fall plantings. Visit us tomorrow at the Farm stand for more summer favorites – tomatoes, okra, peppers, acorn squash, eggplant, coffee, tea, honey, elderberry and canned items.
Has this brisk weather caused a fall decorating bug to appear at your home yet? If you are in need of unique fall décor stop into Goods starting tomorrow through Saturday for our fall lineup of items. Have a great evening. J&L
