Georgia weather…

Northern Georgia always has surprises when it comes to the weather. One minute you’re wearing shorts during the day and then at night you need gloves and a heavy jacket. We were busy prepping the farm for the first cold fall night of the year. The log racks are full if we should need a fire in the woodstove. The tender plants are covered, mulch was added to the berry patch and around the fruit trees, potted citrus trees were moved inside, and the tunnels were closed earlier than usual to hopefully hold in some radiant heat to keep the summer plants going a little bit longer. We over picked the gardens to put as much produce in the stand as possible before the frost. Availability shown below. Just another day of farming! Have a fantastic evening and stay warm tonight!
