2022 Finale

Yes, tonight we will have a finale vs. a finally unlike last night’s blog. 😲 9 months of hard work, blood, sweat, and tears have happened at Holly Hill Farm and Goods during the 2022 season with today officially closing out our 4th year of business. While we were hoping for an easier day, the farm just had to have the last poke at us with the business gate falling off it’s hinges, and the well head had dropped to 29.5 degrees inside the “rock”. Well, the well got the attention in this blistering 11.8 degrees outside as I type the post. We just finished up with modifications of a ‘hotter’ light bulb and more insulation for more heat, hence the reason for the later blog. 2023 non-GMO seeds were ordered today, and we’ve only got about 20 more projects already on the list for next year!
Lisa and I want to extend a sincere Thank You to everyone who has been involved in this endeavor. You, our customers get the biggest thanks, but we also give a big thanks to family, friends, and local vendors who constantly support us to make our farm the experience it has become. Many of you have become more than just a customer and we are blessed to have you in our lives. Below are 2 photos that show how much our small farm has grown just in the past 2 years. The first from 2020, and the second taken last week as the sun sets upon us for the 2022 season. We didn’t know we could work that hard.
For 2023 we anticipate an opening in March, but do have some “experiments” already growing in the basement. 🍅 Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a blessed New Year’s!
Jason, Lisa, and farm dog Zoe
