Today felt like summer is getting closer with the temperature hitting 89.1 degrees on our weather station. KGACANTO321 for those interested weather buffs. It was a busy day with Lisa working in the high tunnels tending to the produce which is starting to hit the Farm stand, meanwhile Jason worked on getting the last of the new fencing supplies to replace the rotted sections towards the back of the farm. We have to keep the 4 legged children Zoe and Cecil from finding an escape route.
Many hours were burned last night spanning into the wee hours of this morning re-vamping the Holly Hill website for better navigation, consistency, and easier to find information. Please give it a look as many questions will be answered there. We are encouraging everyone to sign up for “The Daily Farm News” on our website Home Page. All that is required is simply your email address. You will get a confirmation email that will need to be accepted. Once signed up you will get an email with the entire daily update including the photos. No clicking of links is required to view it! As always we respect your privacy and do not sell, spam, or share your contact information with anyone. By signing up you will also get an occasional email from us with discounts for purchases at the farm, as well as exclusive content.
Fresh produce was harvested today to include cucumber, squash, zucchini, yellow beans, bell pepper, lemon cucumber, micro-greens, herbs, cherry tomatoes, and green tomatoes. Stock up with fresh produce and local items in the Farm stand Saturday as we are closed on Sundays.
Goods will be open along with Farm tomorrow from 9am to 4pm. New inventory is arriving tomorrow morning to include another patriotic wreath, so don’t miss out on unique hand crafted items at great prices.
Our apologies for the longer updates lately, but a lot has been happening here at the farm. Signing off for this evening as today is our 16th wedding anniversary. We have weed spraying, a pile of mulch to be moved, and a pool visit all requesting our attention. Thanks for continuing to grow with us and hope to see you tomorrow! HHFG
