Throwback Thursday with some grilled Jalapeno Bacon Wraps

Throwback Thursday with a recipe for the evening.
Tonight’s Thursday blast from the past is a Goods interior photo taken in September 2019 while it was still just a barn. The interior remodel happened from March – September 2020. Many long days, and hours went into that reconfiguration. We hope it continues to ‘wow’ everyone that enters as the building is quite unassuming from the outside.
And now a recipe for the grill. This recipe is quite easy and can be grilled right alongside your meat, fish, chicken, or whatever satisfies your palates all while keeping the house cool in the last of these hot summer evenings.
Jalapeno Bacon Wraps for the Grill
6 jalapeno peppers – cut in half lengthwise and seeded
6 slices of bacon cut in half
4 ounces of cream cheese
Wash and prepare jalapeno peppers.  Fill each half with cream cheese.  Wrap each piece with 1/2 slice of bacon.  Grill until bacon is crispy. Note: you can put a toothpick in the pepper to keep the bacon wrapped during cooking.  You can also mix in shredded cheddar cheese to the cream cheese for a more jalapeno popper taste.  Enjoy!
The Goods anniversary sale continues through Saturday 8/28.  Items are finding new homes, and the building is getting cleared out for fall quickly. Stop on in and get your hands on these deals before they are gone. Happy Friday eve. J&L
