Back by popular demand!

As requested fresh basil pesto is back in the farm stand. Come and get yours while supplies last. The Farm stand is stocked back full again for Friday with the non-GMO freshness everyone loves. While here swing on up into Goods. We had folks visit for the first time today and were very impressed with our local, only sold here offerings. Lisa does not mind a break from the heat, so ring the doorbell if it is locked.
Have a wonderful evening and we hope you got some of the afternoon rain. See ya’ at the farm! HHFG

A packed out Farm stand!

Summer is definitely here, and it is HOT. Lisa worked in the tunnels all day tending to the fresh veggies with sweat turned up to the maximum. We are near full capacity in Farm and ready for you on Thursday. The cherry tomatoes still are on sale for tomorrow. All of the spaghetti squash for the 2022 season is in the stand. Lisa is working hard to keep up with the canning of pickles and salsa. More will be available ASAP!
Goods will be open tomorrow but will be closing at 4:30pm, as we have a funeral to attend. The farm stand will stay open until 6pm since it is self service. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the HHFG tomorrow.

Cherry tomato explosion!

Well, the cherry tomato plants have decided to explode on us and we have an abundance. That being said cherry tomato lovers the sale is on. Help us find homes for these delicious gems. To supplement the tomatoes we also have okra, small red cabbage heads, cucumbers, cantaloupe, melons, canned goods, honey, tea, coffee and elderberry. Speaking of elderberry, we mentioned yesterday that we now carry multiple elderberry options. For those who have food sensitivities we added an elderberry syrup that is cold pressed with no cinnamon, or cloves. If you haven’t tried it yet, the elderberry hibiscus lemonade is to die for. Lisa could drink that all day long. Tea lovers we didn’t forget about you, welcome winterberry tea to our offerings. Need an on the go immunity boost, or a healthy addition to your current drink of choice, try our natural elderberry drops. These little bottles are shelf stable and can travel in your purse.
Did someone say bees? Goods is back open tomorrow with new items that arrived on Saturday afternoon. While visiting the farm stand feel free to stop up in Goods and check them out. Don’t forget to sign up for the raffle while you are there. If Lisa isn’t in the building or the door is locked, push the doorbell and she will be down shortly. She is probably picking or maintaining the gardens between customers and didn’t hear you pull up.
Happy Wednesday and we will see you tomorrow at the farm!

Google has also been updated to reflect this temporary change.

A Produce Explosion!

The gardens are starting to show we have almost hit peak season for produce at Holly Hill. The farm stand is filled with a variety of produce, and other local treats. We did the corn taste test last night and while quite yummy decided it needed another day or 2 for perfection. Planning on Friday for our first pick of the sweet corn. The cantaloupe also appear to be close to an appearance in the stand. If you are craving our delicious tomatoes, we have a plentitude of them available in the stand and have been able to restock mid day this week to keep that freshness available for everyone.
Announcing the next raffle, a decoupage piece with butterflies and flowers. Get your names in the jar starting tomorrow in Goods. Patriotic items have found new homes while folks are getting ready for July 4th. Don’t miss out on the unique items available.
Fresh cut flowers are in the farm stand to add a cheerful pick me up for your tables. I have a bouquet on the dining room table and it makes the space look so happy and inviting. The flowers last quite a while if you change the water every few days.
Enjoy your evening! J&L

The farm stand is stocked up with yummy tomatoes, squashes, cucumbers, jams, salsa, coffee, honey and elderberry all for your upcoming dinners, cookouts and get togethers. And … it has been raining a slow drizzle for the past hour. This rain was much needed as the plants and grass in the yard were starting to get crunchy. Hope you’re getting some rain also! Happy evening! HHFG
